Solid plot, Rambo-esque series that was an engaging ride. Had some predictable twists, but it doesn't ruin the story or anything. There were apparently reviews claiming this was a right-winger fantasy or something... ignore them. I saw the series before the reviews, and politics never occurred to me at all. While I agree that right-wingers would like the movie, that doesn't make the movie right wing. I liked Rambo back in the day too... critics need to get over it.

Major superhero, comic book fan here... movies, comics, you name it. I have a soft spot for it all. BUT... I cannot fathom how this show is getting the positive reviews it does. It has a good budget and production value I guess. The direction, writing, lines, and plot are absolutely terrible though. TERRIBLE. The constantly repeated theme of "oh, now we learned that if we only work together..." then broken by one member who inexplicably decides to go it alone against the baddie. The plot is chocked full of holes in terms of decisions made by characters that make ZERO sense at all. In many cases, they don't even make a cheap effort to explain it. They just write through that bit... the audience will get past it. Nope- not this one. Saddest of all? The larger story arc doesn't even necessitate having all these broken subplots to work. Everything in the middle could just be so much better. What a waste of a big budget production! Garbage.

Shamefully chocked full of tropes, lines were poorly written, effects bad, setting was not even close to accurate... Was this movie a high school drama project? It's barely beyond one. Dramatic music and slow mo scenes indicate how full of itself this movie is though. 🤮

Good effects, good set, terrible plot. Why did this take 2 hours to tell a 10 minute story? I expected more from an A-Lister like Clooney. So much of the story was pointless, contrived, and unnecessarily stretched out. Waste of time.
