Other than key elements from the Evil Dead franchise it really didn't feel like an Evil Dead movie. It took some things from from other films when it comes to cinematography and moving the plot forward. That being said the movie was fine, It was well cast, and some of the scenes were pretty good. This is one of my favorite horror franchises and I hope to see more, just didn't really feel like an Evil Dead movie.
