I mistook the film's writer/director Soham Shah for Sohum Shah and ended up expecting something of the level of Tumbbad. Was bitterly disappointed. My confusion was not the maker's fault, obviously. But nevertheless, I don't recommend wasting 2 hours over a storyline that has more holes than a fishing net. The plot is unbearable. The dialogues are below ordinary. And the BGM in every scene is just ridiculously overcooked. Bottom-line: Thoroughly unwatchable.

For a flawed storyline which relies heavily on coincidences and is filled with loopholes, the movie did surprisingly well at the box office. Funny how the creators have managed to bag such reviews despite their hopeless screenplay. The only things worth the time are the character development and the social message. Plot-wise, it's just a sorry attempt at writing a thriller.
