This one reminded me of Halloween Party: endless interviews with one clue in them repeated adnauseum, and water contributing to the solution. A contemporary review of "Party" wrote: "Poirot seems weary and so does the book". The first few new Poirots were OK but perhaps it's time he went back to growing vegetable marrows.
