This is WW2 according to Netflix, so it’s dumbed down to cater for people with a five second attention span and zero knowledge of history. There’s no context or analysis and it simply misses out about 75% of the facts. Instead, you get CGI, a thumping soundtrack and a ridiculous “what happened next?” commentary. Anyone who’s ever read a book will weep. Given Netflix’s resources this feels like a missed opportunity but, given their business model, it’s exactly what you’d expect.
