I was chatting to a friend many years ago about Stephen King's The Stand after we raved for a while my mate said "have you read Swan Song"? He asked me thinking I knew the book and author. I hadn't so he lent me his copy. Oh my what a novel I'm a huge King fan but swan song is a better book than the stand and McCammon is a better writer. I'm not good with words so I'll leave the whys to other reviewers. After you read Swan Song read McCammons Boy's Life.another magnificent story by RM.
