Dune 2 is not for the fans of the story. Dune 2 is for the people who want to see Willy wonka and Zendaya stare at each other through cut scenes for twenty minutes. No shields? No lore? I want to immerse myself into the world of Dune. No description or explanation or use of anything. Did they turn Dune into a pro life movie? Why did I see so many shots of a fetus? Why is that fetus Anna Taylor Joy? What is spice? What is it used for? I’ll say they did at least mention the prophecy a few times. But to explain it? If someone were to watch this not seeing the first remake or really even the original they would have no idea the true potential of a great story that Dune truly is. Save your money.
