In most respects this film is great, although it tends to not follow the actual story. Having Paris back away from Menelaus after his defeat when, in fact, he was dragged from the fight by Aphrodite, is a major no-no for me. He was no coward! The other big issue I have is with the casting of Sean Bean as Odysseus. It would've been a bit more believable had he made some effort to disguise his Yorkshire accent. I actually found myself laughing at most of his performance. In conclusion, it is a great film let down by some silly flaws.
