Poorly written movie. We know what the main character is doing but we don't know why. There's no plot or character development

At times I enjoyed the movie, at times I nearly fell asleep, at times I laughed, several times I checked my watch to see how much time was left. I went to the bathroom in the middle of the movie and came back and didn't miss anything. The plot takes forever to move forward because there's so many pointless jokes. Hugh Jackman did a great job although he doesn't speak very much because Ryan Reynolds never shuts up. If you're a big Deadpool fan you'll love it, if you are lukewarm on Deadpool you probably won't enjoy it as much. You have to know all of the other superhero movies dating back to 2000 to appreciate all of the cameos otherwise you probably won't care. Also the plot was dumb. Had they had a stronger plot and less unnecessary jokes I would have enjoyed the movie more.
