Vona Atwell

For viewers who have read the book by Elin Hilderbrand, you will be disappointed…or at least I was. The series is greatly altered from the book, but I realize that’s what happens to adaptations. While I felt the actors did very well with the material at hand, I felt the ending was dumbed down for viewers. The book ending was much more nuanced and powerful. The added story line for Kidman’s character didn’t add anything to the series…but again, that’s only my opinion

The best movie I never heard of. Gritty and realistic, sweeping visuals, great storyline. I’ll be telling my peeps about this one
