Poor story but great cinematography and great vfx. Good characters!

It's got a lot of good things, great acting, great research, great direction but the editing and fast camera work (like seen in Terrence Malik films) make it not so fun to watch. On top of that it's 3 hrs long. It feels more like a Wikipedia reading than storytelling.
It's currently being over hyped.
