I've watch ATK for years and enjoyed it from the start. I do miss Chris Kimball though. While some folks were picking up vibes that were not apparent to me, he was a great instructor and that shines through in his Milk Street show. I've noticed the recipes now seem to be trying way too hard to be "world cuisine" when many of us would prefer good basic cooking instructions. There are plenty of shows from Rick Bayless, Nick Stellino and Martin Yan that do a better job with ethnic cooking and perhaps other than basics such as lasagna and enchiladas, ATK should leave that bailiwick to other shows.
