I did the 10 hour review and initially I didn't see much improvement. I went back to it yesterday and "got into it" a bit more. As Ted Lasso in manager career mode I sold Jamie Tart, bought Pulisic and a few others...
Played a series of games. The close up graphics are phenomenal -
Career mode is loaded and as strong as ever
The dribbling is much better - at least playing alone.
The changes to free kick I don't get - why do it - completely change the nature of corners in last year? So rather than holding button in for length and pace - one simply taps the button more or less - anyway more difficult and completely different from past years.
Teams and individual players seem more realistic. Man City will high press you - Haaland is a beast - Kane is similar - they'll press, steal the ball, go to score.
Shooting seems much better.
Passing unfortunately is about the same from what I can tell thus far - which is unfortunate as I wish it would direct passes better - like passing to who I actually am intending to pass to - that would have been a nice aloha present.
Overall not as bad as on my first impression. A fit conclusion to an iconic franchise.
