One of the last Little Critter books to feature Little Critter undressed. I have read this 1994 Little Critter book and I liked that when Little Critter took a bath. It showed him fully dressed with shoes and shirt and overalls on and put too much shampoo in the bathtub and his pet frog follows him around in the story, but then it actually shows him undressed like a wild animal while walking to the bathtub with a sock on. It then shows Little Critter washing himself and then walking out of the bathtub with him undressed while getting toys form his toy chest and getting water on the floor. He then plays with toys in the tub and then he climbs out and his mother puts a towel on him while he's undressed. Then he puts on pajamas and then has to put away his toys and clean the puddles of water he made while walking undressed. And then his mother reads him a bedtime story. I'm sad that Mercer Mayer no longer depicts Little Critter undressed or half dressed because I like seeing his furry body and it's not the same having him fully dressed in the current Little Critter books because they're not people they're cartoon animals and I'm sad I no longer see anymore Little Critter books where he was allowed to be undressed or only wear a shirt and didn't have to wear pants since he's a hedgehog and hamster type animal. I'm usually interested in half dressed or undressed cartoon animals since they look sillier and more fun to look at without pants on them.

The best Little Critter Christmas book while Little Critter is undressed in most of the pages. I have read Merry Christmas Mom and Dad and I liked how silly Little Critter is as his parents let him go around the house without any clothes on while he has a furry body like a wild animal. I did like how he made a mess around the house trying to build a Christmas wreath he sloppily made. Eating sugar cookies, then going out to the shopping mall while he's allowed to be completely undressed in public places when he's looking at toys like a jack in the box and sitting on Santa Critters lap asking for a present while undressed and there's no security police being called. Later on Little Critter makes more mistakes trying to wrap Christmas presents while getting tape all over his furry body. When he's outside, he's fully dressed while finding a pine tree to chop down. And breaking the Christmas balls holding the box upside down while undressed and getting himself tangled in Christmas lights while undressed. The best part was when Little Critter wears a red Santa hat while undressed and gets a star and his dad helps him put it on the Christmas tree. Then Little Critter gets in his pajamas and Santa delivers the presents and then Little Critter gets up and goes downstairs and sees the toys and brings them upstairs to his sleepy parents and writes Merry Christmas. This was one of Mercer Mayer earlier Little Critter books in the 1980s and it features Little Critter undressed which is something you don't see anymore in current Little Critter books. I always like how undressed Little Critter is and how silly it looks even though he has fur.

This Little Sister book features animal cruelty at a circus. I have read Little Sister When I grow up, while I did like the depictions of Little Sister having daydreams of what she wants to do when she grows up, however there's one picture I do not like when it shows the circus animals in captivity being forced to dance and play music while Little Sister is the ringleader with a whip which is too painful for me to look at. Hopefully in the future reprints of When I Grow Up that controversial outdated circus picture will be removed. Anyways some of the stuff that Little Sister daydreams about like leading in a marching band, or being a circus clown, tightrope walker, or a kids baker show, or a rock climber, kids go kart ride with adult supervision she can already do as a kid with training and many hours of practice. But being a mailman, police officer, firefighter, truck driver, a checkup doctor, pet shop owner, real dangerous stunts like airplane stunts, driving race cars around the track, or skydiving with a parachute she would need to train most of her life for until she's grown up and even if she did grow up she would still have to eat healthy like lima beans since cake is not healthy. Anyways it's an interesting Little Sister book of course Mail delivery is not used as much since we now have emails. I also liked seeing the Racoon customers who were half dressed with no pants on showing their furry bottom. This is an okay book except for the animal cruelty circus picture scene which will hopefully be removed in future reprints since most people don't want to see circus animals perform anymore.

The best sequel to Peter Rabbit with realistic drawings by Beatrix Potter and the whipping furry bottom picture. I have read The Tale of Benjamin Bunny many times and I'm always fascinated by the realistic drawings of Peter Rabbit and the other realistic animals by Beatrix Potter. Anyways I like how Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny wear a shirt and shoes but no pants and showing off their furry bottoms like Donald Duck. I always wondered why Benjamin Bunny would rope Peter Rabbit into Mr. McGregors garden when Peter Rabbit had a bad experience with Mr. McGregor trying to kill him and getting trapped in the garden. When Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny tries to hide in the basket, they were trapped for hours until Mr. Benjamin Bunny the father chases the cat into the greenhouse and then he grabs Benjamin Bunny and whips his exposed furry rear end and then also whips Peter Rabbits exposed rear end with a switch and then you see them rubbing their paws on their whipped behinds which I'm not too surprised. And then Mr. Benjamin Bunny takes Peter Rabbit home and his son. And the story ends with Peter Rabbits mother forgiving him and he's with his family. There are later retellings of The Tale of Benjamin Bunny with other artists renditions which removes the whipping picture scene. It must've hurt Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny getting their furry bottoms spanked since they don't wear pants and it's something you don't see in most modern kids story today. I hope this best story sequel doesn't go away since it shows spanking which is being censored or removed.

The best Little Critter ever by Mercer Mayer and he's undressed and doesn't wear pants in most of the pages. I have read Little Critter When I get Bigger and I liked how it portrayed him walking around town without his parents help. In the first page Little Critter is undressed showing off his exposed furry body like in the Critter Kids series or like in the book Just for You like a wild animal in the wilderness. Little Critter boy explains about when he grows up, he will do lots of things. It then shows him being independent but the undressed gray mouse follows him around town. It shows him walking around town wearing only a green and white striped t-shirt but he doesn't wear pants or shoes and walks around barefoot and shows off his exposed furry bottom around town and doesn't get in trouble with the police and no body cares he dresses up like Donald Duck. I liked how in this book we actually get to see Little Critter undressed like a wild animal and also how he puts on his green and white striped t-shirt and doesn't wear pants or shoes like Donald Duck and walks barefoot and shows off his exposed furry bottom around town and it's acceptable to Critterville citizens. No body will really know if he has to go to the restroom until he goes like a cat or dog. I also like that he doesn't have parental supervision. Also I like it that he uses 1980s outdated technology like rotary corded phones and delivers newspapers, uses big bulky boom boxes, uses paper catalogs to make orders. The Internet and cellphone made most of those obsolete. The only thing I didn't like about this book is when Little Critter roller skates and rides his wheel bike without a helmet which exposes his head to the danger of crashes. This was before bike helmets were required by law and I didn't like that bad example of no helmets. Anyways I always find it very silly and embarrassing that cartoon animals can go around wearing a shirt but no pants or shoes even though they have fur or feathers to cover them. Of course in the summer it would get very hot for them to wear clothes. Anyways this is the best Mercer Mayer Little Critter book ever. It should've won a book award for best children's cartoon animal book and recommend reading it for seeing Little Critters exposed furry bottom.
