Not half as good as the Gadget Show, which it seemed to replace. But the main problem is, very well paid presenters/researchers have no idea about saving money. John Bentley's comparing is a good example. Shop around and much cheaper items than his 'bargain' items can be found. But his latest one is very poor. A corded device is often always cheaper than a cordless one. Why did he not compare cordless ones, with the same level of kits?

I have read the books, watched the Chinese 30 hour adaptation of the first book. The Netflix attempt is an insult. I expect if you cross the original writer's palm with enough silver he would agree to any changes. I even have no respect for the actors who would take the cash to act in the appalling Netflix heavily changed and condensed rubbish. Just 8 hours? Get real. If you have read the book/s and/or seen the Chinese series on Youtube, stay well away from Netflix's rendition. I could only take 15 mins of it. Watch the 30 episode version on YouTube.

People don't win £10,000. Why? Because if they have already built up, let's say, £9,999, then all they really win is £1. They should win the 10 grand plus what they have already won. Also, the 'let's see what happens if you had traded for 3 tokens' is pointless, because don't they fall randomly? So any set of three would not fall the same.

Why is my name on here?

If you have never read the books, it's ok I suppose. Another story ruined by being a loose adaptation.

It's well dubbed and great to watch.
