its a great show, exciting storyline and charming and captivating lead actor. the lead actress though ,is a huge letdown, after having watched Crash landing on you and Descendants of the sun I hade huge expectations as in those shows the lead couples were not only beautiful, but had amazing chemistry and superb acting skills. While watching The King, it took me a few episodes to accept that this actress with below average looks is the female lead, and that too opposite Lee Min Ho! if only the female lead was attractive and charming, this show would have been a masterpiece, but still I do recommend watching it, Lee Min ho is so amazing that you can just keep on binge watching .
