A great film. I watched hindi dubbed version. Full of suspense.

One of the best films of Karisma - I dont know why it flopped - may be coz it took many years in the making. Ppl praise Kajol for her negative role in Gupt - here Karisma did an equally amazing job. Out of the 3 leads, Karisma was perfect , while Akshay was good too. Ameesha looked cute and her role was ok. Songs were v good. Story was very good and the ending was very sad - my heart went out for Karisma - overall , 4 / 5 from me

Watched a film after quite some time. Hindi movie "Qala" on Netflix. What a gem. Story n narration : Brilliant. Music : Excellent. Acting : Incredible. A beautiful watch which will be loved by fans of classic bollywood. Fans of Sallu bhai's masala films may not like this. Highly recommended must watch

A beautiful film beyond stars and ratings. This film proves that Karisma was the best among the 90s heroines. The havelis, palaces looked v real ( unlike SLB films where everything looks like decorative pieces ) . Pity that it didnt do well

Overall, a good film. Good suspense till the end. Good acting from all. Very interesting and sad climax

Seen Baghban ? Baghban was copied from this film - pity that none of the ppl involved with the film mentioned this fact. Zindagi is actually much better than Baghban. While Baghban was about rich and rich ( Big B even when jobless sports expensive suits - Hema wears expensive stuff - they failed to show the common ppl and emotions ). Zindagi shows the life of the common ppl like us v nicely and Saneev and Mala did great job / Sachin played his part with lots of emotions and pain unlike Salman who was more like a decorative piece. I would highly recommend this. vv Touching

Saw the movie in 1996 and a few times after that too. It was an awesome film. Great acting, Beautiful music, impactful drama and some v nice dances by Karisma. Many ppl say Raja Hindustani changed the career of Karisma however they forget that Jeet came before and she was superb in Jeet. Her pairing with both Sunny and Salman looked v fresh and v good. At a time when ppl were only talking about Kajol , Manisha ( among the new breed) Karisma stormed into the scene with this film. And how can one forget the lovely cameo by Tabu - she was superb.
