Lester, I am a mother, grandmother, doctor and public health professional who has spent over 30 years looking at prevention and maternal child health issues. I am not sure why NBC Nightly News did not cover any discussion about gun control policy tonight, in the wake of the recent mass shootings in El Paso Texas and Dayton Ohio. NBC could provide a more comprehensive coverage of this tragedy if it included a discussion looking for solutions towards preventing these shootings, including looking at our current gun control laws. We need to do a better job protecting our children, teens and the public.
