seeing this film was a unique experience because I've never gone to the theaters to see a horror/thriller and laughed with the other audience members, who I didn't know, about how bad the movie was. No one could take it seriously.
Theres's one moment in particular where everything goes very quiet (I think it was to show that a characters hearing was deteriorating) It was supposed to be dramatic but pretty much everyone in the theater was bursting out laughing or suppressing giggles. The laughter continued throughout the movie. That goes to show how poorly executed this movie was.
I guess in a weird way I could say it was enjoyable but only because I haven't laughed that hard in a while.
The acting was horrendous to anyone that is above the age of, say, five years old. Speaking of five-year-olds, a literal five-year-old probably wrote the script, which didn't do the actors any favors.
The plot itself was messy. Plot holes everywhere. Really weird details were just glossed over and covered up with some obviously contrived BS.
For example, they're just gonna gloss over the fact that two people who are technically 6 years old, had sex? and then they come out of the tent still with their young minds?... And how was it so fast?? And also, what the hell?!
There's so much more I could make fun of this movie for. So much. I'm really exercising restraint here.
If you're looking to watch a thriller, go see something else.
If you're looking for a comedy, this movie is for you.
