I am shocked at reading some of the reviews here. Makes me wonder if any of you have read the comic book which was released back in April 1985 with 12 issues completed in March 1986. This was a major shake up at the time for DC and it's followers. So far we have had one part of three, how many films do you judge after 40 minutes without watching the rest of it? Perhaps you haven't watched the lead up to this movie. Justice Society WWII, Justice League War World also Justice League Flashpoint Paradox which would explain The Spectre's statement of The Flash shares some of the blame. Then also Justice League Dark Apokolips War, these all tie in with this movie to explain Constantine's roll in all of this.
Maybe I'm just nostalgic having collected the comics since the early 70's upto the early part of this century. I enjoy some more than others being translated into animation movies and look forward to the next two parts before passing judgement, but I am eagerly looking forward to part two. DC has so many stories from all the comics books written over so many years, so plenty of material available?
Enjoy everyone.
