Good premise and having a tie to a current day wonder helps garner appeal. I appreciate it leaning on intrigue rather than heavy violence and sex. The cast growth rate is good leaving opportunities for interesting character focus. The production needs help. The script is often uncomfortably awkward and the soundtrack seems a bit too close to a 1990s after school special. The acting is fair to good again probably suffering some from direction and the script. I usually tell how much I like something based on how often I skip ahead and if I skip back because I lost context. I skipped back often on this show. I think it can be upgraded with the right leadership and funding. Given how shows are easily cast aside these days I don't expect NBC to carry the ball forward.
