Paula Puddephatt - Author

I love this novel partly because almost every character is deeply flawed, veering towards morally grey, and yet it somehow works. The story, told from the perspective of main character Marie, really draws you in. Marie is far from perfect, and makes many poor decisions, but her motivations, such as her desire to have children, are relatable and understandable. I highly recommend this book.
