[spoilers btw] UGGGGH this movie is SO. GOOD. The score always accompanies the scenes near PERFECTLY. The flashback at the end, the foreshadowing and throwbacks, the soundtrack, the camera angles and work and more IS ALL. SO. DAMN. PERFECT. This movie has always been one of my favorites. I was never one for psychological horror, but then Jordan Peele took a pair of golden scissors and ran with them, and all of a sudden I was in LOVE. The characters are so well written, and the hints and bits and pieces that show how Adelaide WAS a tethered, not the little girl that was left traumatized after a bad experience with a funhouse. The foreshadowing is subtle, but the idea is so on the nose. First time viewers NEVER catch the hints and I've never heard of anyone who WASN'T shocked by the plot twist. The implications that Jason is a tethered too ?? This movie is SO yummy. Gabe's stupid jokes and personality god he's so dumb I love him. The scene where Jason uses the fact that his tethered mirrors him to kill him in the fire is just so impactful. It's my favorite scene after the death of Red, and nobody will ever change my mind. The tethered were all done so WELL. Lupita did an AMAZING job with her wide vocal range. Red's voice is CHILLING. Goddddd I'll never ever ever quit yapping about this movie. It's a masterpiece and deserves a higher rating and bigger fandom 🙏
