My wife, Tae Ok, is Korean and I bought this movie for her. She loved it...As for me, I had to watch it twice before I fully appreciated it. The actress who played both the young woman and her mother's younger self was very convincing. It was an emotional story of young love which faded after many years. Because she saw firsthand the difficult life her mother endured when young and alone (except for her younger brother) the protagonist became more understanding of how her mother had been made hard by her struggles. I give this picture 4 stars out of five. The only thing that bothered me was that her going back in time was never explained, it just happened... 23 June 2020
