Average if I'm being optimistic. Almost 3 hours of every tired cliché and rehashed story lines thrown into scene salad. Supreme irony that this movie has such lazy writing. The last 30 mins or so gives a little pay-off where the movie hones in on sentiment and executes better. By this time though, the melodrama too feels contrived and like it's just there to tick another box. SJ Surya and a couple of others put in a decent performance and some of the jokes aren't terrible but there's very little that can justify your time spent on this movie. If you do enjoy formulaic commercial movies, you might enjoy this. I possibly went in with expectations too high due to the ratings and some good experiences from Tamil cinema I had recently.
