I really enjoyed it. The acting was outstanding. The plot was unbelievable but actually happened. Costumes were authentic. One to watch.

I found the book very confusing. The narrative changed from different generations and incorporated Maori language and beliefs. Some parts of the story were gripping but understanding who each character was and fitting them into the story was difficult.
The quality of writing was very high and I will be interested in reading her next novel.

I thought this film was excellent. The acting was superb. It certainly portrayed life as we age which wasn’t pleasant to see. The film also showed the difficulties facing the health system and the amazing work done by employees in aged care homes.
