I liked this movie a lot it’s a real 5/5 no it’s a 4/5 but I really liked it.
The biggest thing that held this movie back was pacing. However filmmakers had a decent amount of world building so I forgave it. 3/5
The characters are solid. It’s a bit more enjoyable in terms of characters as all the apes have personalities now. However I did feel the intelligent humans fell a bit short in this movie.4/5
The strongest part of this movie is the themes. This movies themes are for adults. The main themes are cultural differences and misunderstanding from the past. In the movies it had been quite sometime since Cesar passed and apes teach the next generation his lessons however some apes misconstrued his lessons and this causes the main conflict in the movie. 5/5
Last part Noa and Mae I like Noa he’s a young ape that goes on a growing up journey. Mae I don’t like. She’s everything humans love about themselves “never giving up”. But the fact she ends things with Noa the way she does means she’s changes slightly also. 4/5
