Shocked that this movie isn't rated higher by critics. I really enjoyed it. I was unfamiliar with the story and literally on the edge of my seat. It was long but paced well and the plot moved along so it didn't feel long. With all likeable characters, and moving music that helped you get an adrenaline rush, I was rooting so hard for the team in all of their races. What I liked most about this movie was no frills, just straight story telling. This was SO refreshing for this day and age. No big special effects, unrealistic action, elaborate sets/costumes, no political agenda, incredibly wholesome (honestly could have been rated G). It was by every meaning of the word "Simple" and this is why it deserves 5 stars. I do wish it explained a little more of how the team got to be so good. Did not show a lot of their training. Would have liked to see more of how the love story developed as well. I did learn a lot about the sport itself, and have a new appreciation for it. Solid honest entertainment all around.
