Slow boring and done to death… never goes anywhere…push pull mother and daughter over silly nonsense… too much repetition.. I get it!!! Turned it off after the 6th mama drama

... superficial character development... wooden acting... the lead couldn’t convince me that she bonded with her dog.... sleep Walked thru her entire performance.. supporting military and civilian characters out acted the protagonist.. the hackneyed storyline although true was marched out in front of us .with little exploration, or depth.merely to supply the push necessary to jettison her into the Marines.and tritely showcased with just a few contentious scenes between a crass mother and long suffering daughter. The real Megan was undoubtably more believable
