100% recommend. This was a breath of fresh air. A completely new take on the zombie genre. I’d say it’s a realistic representation of what could happen to an already troubled family dynamic when thrown into an impossibly difficult situation like an apocalypse. This movie is a complete departure from how other Filipino horror movies, and even Western zombie flicks, are made; showing a depth to its characters that goes beyond just the chaos outside their world. If this is a glimpse of what’s to come for Philippine horror cinema, I am excited to see more. Never heard of director Carlo Ledesma prior to this movie but I will make sure to see his other works now. LOVED IT SO MUCH!
