I liked the premise. These are all men who absolutely should be studied and never forgotten, so we are less likely to repeat the mistakes of allowing them into power.
But overall it's been really disappointing. It's an extremely white-washed version of events, almost no mention is made whatsoever of the West's continual involvement and support of putting many of these men into power. The lack of information is pretty astonishing - I've learned more about the West's meddling in public middle school than this docudrama.
The editing is annoying. They keep cutting to different clips and using a shutter-camera sound effect and flashing lights that is extremely distracting.
I also find Dinklage's voice-over commentary to be a completely useless distraction, obnoxious, and also disrespectful for such a serious topic.
These are all men that have killed and tortured thousands of people, and this "quirky" theme Netflix is going for is really insulting. You can still make something entertaining while being respectful.
