This review will mainly focus on the last 2 episodes of season 2.
The series up until the last 2 episodes were good and wholesome. Just monsters going about their daily work lives with some drama to spice things up. It was meant to be a show about friendship and work morals that expands on the Monsters Inc franchise. However, that changed with the 2nd to last episode of season 2. Now it wasn't that bad when it was revealed that Cutter and new character Nunny were revealed to be exes, which explained their hatred for each other. However, toward the end of the episode, they somehow started getting feeling for each other and even made a disturbing statment about lickng each others eyes. Now if that wasn't bad enuff, in the final episode of the season, they completely got back together and even KISSED right on screen! And to make it worse, the scene they decided to show it at was absolutely uncalled for. The scene was supposed to be about Tyler apologising for his actions toward Monsters Inc and his friends. But halfway they this scene, they randomly switch to focussing entirely on these 2 characters expressing their feelings and kissing in a shot that lasted at least 20 seconds, which was not only completely unrelated to what Tyler was supposed to be conveying but also took away from what was supposed to be Tyler's apology scene to the point of undermining it. And the reason these 2 broke up in the first place was the most idiotic reason to have ever been given. Oh my, she bought her the wrong juice! What a life changing, relationship ending tragedy. Seriously, the writers who wrote that dialogue weren"t even trying. And the only reason this even exists is to push a gay agenda where it deeply doesn't need it.
This episode still gets 2 stars cause the randel scenes and the final battle between the him and the MIFT plus Johnny Worthington's reveal as the true main villain of the season and Tyler and Val becoming a comedy duo at the end was still good.
