I'm only on episode 2. Right now, the show is typical Gothic fare, along the lines of the novel Dragonwyck. I'll revisit the review process after I've seen all six episodes.

If you haven't read The Witching Hour you will have difficulty figuring out what is going on. It's awful. This could have been SUCH a good series. It could have been epic, but it feels like no one involved with the show actually read the book. The entire book series was excellent. This is trash. Don't waste your time.
