The animation was done well, the panda is cute, and the characters are funny, but most of the lessons are not great. They were that you don't need to listen to your parents all the time if they don't let you be "who you are" and do what you want to do. It can be true that parents can be limiting, but this takes rebellion to an extreme. It's good to at least try and listen and do your best to make them happy, without lying and disobeying them secretly. This doesn't mean you can do inappropriate things! Parents are not always the monster some people think they are, even though they don't have it all figured out. It's great that the kid and parents loved and appreciated each other, but totally disobeying and ignoring parents can tear that bond.
