Graphically insanely beautiful but just feels terrible to play. The world is extremely open and full of life and yet feels so limited and empty. You can climb walls that lead to nowhere and then you get stuck inside a ton of invisible barriers with no way out! Not fun! 2/5
Edit:
I decided to give this game another shot and played it for another 4-6 hours which was insanely boring and extremely frustrating. However, once I got through the initial slog the game opened up tremendously and the beauty of the open world reveals itself and comes to life in a way most games just cannot come close to (AFTER about 7 hours). The characters become more charming, the dialogue seems more enthusiastically delivered, among several other things. The machines are amazing, challenging, vibrant, and unique. Above all else the story continuously gets better and better as I play. I now retract my 2/5 and give it a SOLID 4/5. Once again my sincerest apologies to the developers. Thank you. (seriously fix the buggy off limits areas in the early game theyre everywhere and it feels like nobody tested anything its awful and space out enemy spawns)
