Honestly? I cried once or twice because it was sweet at parts. The rest was just cringy. The CGI sucked (Jurassic Park had better CGI) and the storyline was predictable and lame. I don't care if it's a movie for kids. They enjoy a good, intelligent plot as much as anyone else. The narraration was so bad that I cringed every time I heard her voice. I don't blame the actress, I blame the screen writers. A lot of people are upset about the gay couple, but children aren't going to really notice unless their really perceptive. It was very subtle, and I didn't feel like it was being shoved down my throat. Honestly, don't waste your money going to the theater. This is a Redbox movie. Maybe not even that. A Netflix movie. 4/10 in my opinion.
