This was Seventh Day Adventist propaganda. I felt like l was being preached at in Church. NOT why l go to the movies.
Do yourself a favour and go see something more entertaining. Acting was fine. Very picturesque but .. l also that reviews were were written by by members of the church.

This is the finest and best researched book on Elvis as the man behind the myth l have ever read. Sally has exposed how the very real health issues impacted on Elvis yet he he continued to perform and give everything he had to his fans.
The touring he pushed himself to do was brutal and his generosity knew no bounds, unfortunately. How l wish he had had good financial advice and could rest his weary body when necessary, not wait until near collapse. It was a different era and the knowledge we have now on medicines could have made a huge difference.
Bless you Sally for this extraordinary book. It has had a profound effect on me and l will be reading it again shortly. We were all blessed to witness the brilliance that was ELVIS PRESLEY.

Honest Thief is an action packed Liam Neeson film. Following a familiar format it builds suspense nicely and keeps us guessing.
Terrific and believable support cast. The bad cop does ooze a little too much bad. I looked forward to seeing him brought down.
You won't be disappointed.

Cocaine Bear was great fun. An eclectic mix of gore & comedy. Definitely kept me entertained from start to finish. Best actor was the black bear.
Huge range of characters, all with their own intertwining stories. The script flowed flawlessly & the actors were all outstanding.
A fitting epitaph for for the main villain Ray Liotta. R.I.P.
Well Done Elizabeth Banks.

I love the Marvel movies but this was the worst so far. Way too silly. Christian Bale l really like but he was such a sad villain & pathetic rather than frightening. Storyline was pretty good and children were nice touch. I noticed in the children's credits a few 'Hemsworth' names in there. Russell Crowe.....what was with the deplorable accent. A few more cameos, won't spoil it, but missed the mark for me. Just slipping over from comedic to silly for me.

As a staunch Elvis fan it was difficult to watch. I felt the movie should have been called Colonel Tom Parker as it focused more on his manipulation of Elvis. Time constraints made it difficult to compress Elvis life but l would have liked at least a few stories off the good Elvis did. I felt it was flat. Not enough highs & lows.
It also vocally needed a few more powerhouse songs

Kept me watching with an interesting story line & great acting. Kate Winslet delivers again & l find l like James Brolin more each time l see him. Scenery simple but captures the life of a troubled single woman raising her son alone. Just the right movie for a Friday night.

Compelling movie. Storyline interesting & pretty easy to follow, a must for me. Acting was superb. Not for the faint hearted as there is quite a lot of brutality & bloodshed.

Very interesting, intriguing & absorbing movie. l agree with most that Robert Redford & Julie Christie too old for these parts. Even their daughter way too to be theirs. 'Nick's' younger daughter looked about 13, too young by far as Redford would have been 78 when movie was made.
If you can ignore the disparity of their ages, it was a great movie
