Wondeful series. Although the story is not new or unique , However everything else was just great ! The characters were written perfectly , great script , the dynamic between the team, the 1970s vibes...Literally everything was just spot on ! AND THE MAIN CHHARACTERS ( Sam Tyler) and Philip Glenister ( Gene Hunt) took it to a whole new level, they both delivered fantastic performance , fully inmersed in their characters. Every episode I just can't decide which one I like the most ! Also the pace was right , not too slow , not a slapdash... just right.
