Pointless. A huge missed opportunity to reflect on the ideological divisions currently plaguing the USA and other Western countries. Instead this seems to be a movie about journalism, and how journalists imagine they are privileged purveyors of ‘the truth’, but are actually only vain, amoral voyeurs in pursuit of the next ‘money shot’. Is the movie saying that this is all of us too, with our pocket cameras on the ready for that next Insta-wonder? I have no idea, and neither does the film-maker.
