I was totally entertained by this version of the witches. I am not sure why some people scored this 1 or 2 stars when it is a very wholesome, fast moving movie is better than I expected. I am a fan of Guillermo del Toro's movies so I thoroughly enjoyed this. It is not just a kid's movie. It could be that the mice were so cute and Octavia and Anne's performance were very good indeed.

Surprisingly a very good movie. Unusually colorful and stylish, with a good storyline and plot. One of the better animated christmas movies with a european fell and less hollywood cliche. Loved it! Highly recommended. Great job Netflix!
