I found this game to way over hyped. The game suffers from an identity crisis, it tries to be too many things at once and fails at all of them as a result. If you watched any anime in the late 90's or early 2000's you'll have figured out the plot within the first hour. Its a jumbled mess where I find myself constantly fighting the game, the controls, and overall poor design. It fails as an exploration game since the terrain elements offer no visual clues as to what terrain is traverseable and not. It fails as a combat game since the most effective strategies are the least fun, just hide in the corner and hold fire, its boring but it works and the game doesn't incentiveise you to do otherwise. The story has some fun and endearing moments, but it isn't worth suffering through the game to experience it.
