Joey Brewer – Google

Let me just start by saying that this is most definitely my favorite show that I've ever watched. I don't know if that's necessarily a good thing since it's about a stalking psychopath, but it's my comfort show, and I've never rewatched a show so many times as this. I think Penn Badgley being cast as Joe was the best decision they've ever made, by a long shot. If it was anybody else besides Penn, the show would be a dumpster fire, along with Victoria Pedretti being cast as Love; she also killed it. Rest in peace, Love. A lot of people don't like it and think the show is repetitive, which it is, but it's crazy how the show can be repetitive, and I still binge watch each season several times. I will say that the show feels a lot different without Love in it anymore, but I'm not going to be one of those people who complains about a character's death and lets it drag down my entire review of the show. People die in the show; it happens, clearly, if you've seen the show at all. I will say that it's a crime that Penn Badgley hasn't been nominated for any rewards at all for playing Joe Goldberg. He narrates the entire show, every episode, from start to finish. He plays the main character. And now, as of recent, he has also helped produce the 4th Season. What can't he do? Give this man an award or nomination at the very least. 5 stars for sure.

Man, when I first started watching this show, I was so hooked that I couldn't stop watching it, especially the whole Carla, Christian, and Polo trio, which was the peak of Elite in my opinion. They were carrying the show overall; the first 3 seasons were the pinnacle of the show in my opinion, but once the Blancos came into the picture, the show didn't feel the same anymore, and even Guzman in season 4 acted so out of character that I didn't even recognize him, but I decided to ignore his character in that season when ranking him overall. I still really love the show and highly recommend it, but some people might have trouble finishing the entire show since most of the original characters have left. But don't get it twisted, the prime of Elite is some of my favorite television to watch ever. I really do think that this show deserves 5 stars, but everything after Season 3 felt different, especially with Lu, Carla, and Nadia leaving at the end of that season. Taking 3 of the main female characters in the show is crucial, but now the newest season just has some random new characters nobody cares about, and Isadora, which I don't care about with all due respect, but I heard for the new season that Nadia is supposed to be coming back, so that will help spark the show. Nadia will probably be the only reason I watch the new season. Overall, great show, but it just got dragged for too long. I miss Carla, Lu, Guzman, Rebe, and Ander.
