Top 5 of movies that I think could have stayed in a spitball meeting. Crazy how when I was watching it I felt like it was made in 2010 or earlier only to find out it came out in 2023. Feels preachy and so annoying how they kept being like “oh noooo you’re a gay couple this is making it harder for us bc your love IS SOOOOO PURE!”. Almost as if Queer love/relationships weren’t already viewed as something out of the ordinary. Plot is predictable and slow burn. Batista was actually surprisingly good in his character, made me rethink the original 1-star rating I was going to leave.
