The author spends several chapters re-hashing one of the games then immediately afterwards starts to re-hash the first couple of chapters in this already short book. I can't imagine why anyone would approve of this guy killing off a game's protagonist in the book then follow that up by making one of his teammates a terrorist. Probably the worst book in the Halo universe I've read so far, I cannot get over that he just straight up kills a character from the games in a book and it's never brought up again.
