The acting is fantastic. The murder mystery is great. The only thing that has become predictable and boring is Cassie's continuous visions of childhood drama. WHY she's an alcoholic is irrelevant. That she IS an alcoholic and it causes her to be out of control (virtually ALL the time) is what's relevant.
