I’m not gonna write eighteen paragraphs about why this movie was good, because I don’t need to. This movie was wonderful, and you should go see it with your kids. In my opinion, the people who make 1 star reviews about this movie are objectively wrong. There are many people complaining about aspects of this movie, under the guise of trying to “protect/not confuse their children”(which I personally don’t agree with) but I’m not here to talk about that cuz I’m sure many other people already have. The moral of Lightyear is NOT a liberal agenda, it isn’t some political effort to brainwash kids, and it’s not “conform to everyone or you won’t be accepted.” It’s that we all have to MOVE ON. Disney knew what they were doing when they made this movie. They understood there would be some people who can’t/won’t move on. The people who can’t accept modern ideals as something to live by, and instead have to live in the past. The people who are, right now, tearing this movie down. But seriously. Go watch this movie. It’s amazing and you’ll love it(especially if your grew up with the toy story franchise like me)
