When I first saw the promo I though nah! no way am I going to watch this but then I had the TV on for the episode when Sai brings food for Virat to the hospital and what happens after and somehow I was hooked! So hooked I had to then binge watch everything from the beginning. Sai is awesome! Her character and dialogues given to her are really good. OK sometimes it's over the top but she portrays "young but mature, and young but not blind and certainly not stupid" well. Virat cracks me up - his expressions are really good especially when he is thinking "what now!?". Poor guy, drama starts in the morning when he wakes up and again in the evening when he comes home - and he's torn between his family and Sai, Pakhi and Sai! Also, at no point do you end up thinking "arre IPS Officer, why are you so dumb at home!?" He's not blind - he's got a good reading on everyone and knows what's going on even if he doesn't say much or is trying to resolve things peacefully. He stands up for what's right and honours his promises and his responsibility. OK that one promise to Pakhi was stupid! but again oh well, it is a TV serial.
It's so funny that although Neil and Aiswarya met on the sets and fell in love and are engaged to be married, they have to play opposing sides on the show and worse, Pakhi is horrid!! She really does a good job of being horrid, so do the others do really well in their roles. The dramas continue but that's what TV serials are all about.
