If you are a fan of the book or the first mini series you will be disappointed. This lacks any depth of character or feeling. The play of good and evil is shallow and simply a platform to launch a much faded version of the original. I can't believe they could take this much time to miss so much. I thought Stephen King couldn't possibly have been consulted, but apparently he was involved...may be he needed a make work project for his son (a producer of this version) Soooo disappointed.
