This is just not funny sadly. I am an East Midlander and wonder why actors struggle so badly to get anywhere near the accent or our unique humour!! ‘Shameless’ writers and actors certainly have no fears or competition! Why didn’t they ask Vikki McClure for advice on the accent? The actors range from Brummie to a gay Yorkshire accent! Very disappointing indeed!!
