Unfortunately, the film has little to do with the Disney original and that's why I think the rating Disney is wrong here. The other real film adaptations are much better done.
There have also been film adaptations of the Chinese folk tale Mulan. The question arises, why does Disney not stick with its own version. But it's also the lack of Mushu, Mulan's costar, that was disappointed.
